Breaking Dawn New List of Vampires

As reported that Mackenzie Foy officially to play as Renesmee in Breaking Dawn more list of new vampires are set to appear in this new movie:

THE DENALI COVEN

The Denali family are vegetarian allies and "cousins" of the Cullens who reside in Alaska.

Irina, one of the three Denali coven "sisters," will be played by Maggie Grace, whom you may have seen in 'Taken' (2009), as well as TV's 'Lost' (2004-10). Irina's vengeful act against the Cullens -- an ill-informed decision brought about by her grief for her wolf-murdered lover Laurent -- involves the Volturi and the Cullens in yet another epic stand-off.

THE AMERICAN NOMADS

Several nomadic American vampires were called upon by the Cullens for help, including Garrett, one of Carlisle's oldest and closest friends, and Peter and Charlotte, friends of Jasper's since his time in the South. Fortunately for the humans of Forks, these non-vegetarian vampires have better-than-average self-control.

Lee Pace is taking on the role of Garrett, Carlisle's close friend and the future mate of Katrina Denali. Pace was nominated for a Golden Globe for his work in the TV movie 'Soldier's Girl' (2004), and he also starred in 'Pushing Daisies' (2007-2009), 'A Single Man' (2009) and 'Marmaduke' (2010). Garrett is a tall, handsome vampire with sandy hair and a ponytail. He has an adventurous spirit, and joins the Denali coven after the Volturi leave.

THE EGYPTIAN COVEN

The Egyptian coven is led by Amun, who is extremely protective of his family and very wary of the Volturi.

Amun, the leader of the Egyptian coven, will be played by Omar Metwally. The actor has had roles in 'Rendition' (2007) and 'Munich' (2005). Although Amun came to help the Cullens against the Volturi, he is mistrustful of Carlisle, fearing he might try and "steal" Benjamin.

THE AMAZON COVEN

The two members of the Amazon coven who arrive in Forks to support the Cullens are Senna and Zafrina, two of the oldest vampires in the world.

The role of Senna will be played by newcomer Tracey Higgins. Senna -- described in the book as a dark-haired, tall and long-bodied character who wears animal skins -- is a quiet member of the ancient Amazon coven. The coven has lived outside civilization for eons, and no longer attempt to seem human while maintaining the traditional vampire diet.

THE IRISH COVEN

Maggie, Siobhan and Liam are the Irish coven, a younger "family" of non-vegetarian vampires founded by Siobhan and Liam.

Marlane Barnes, who will also co-star in Terrence Malick's new movie 'Tree of Life,' will play Maggie, the small, red-curled vampire whose special ability is to know when she is being lied to -- a skill the Cullens found critical to knowing what the Volturi, especially Aro, meant to do with Renesmee.

THE ROMANIAN COVEN

One of the oldest covens in the world, Vladimir and Stefan come to fight the Volturi because of their centuries-old resentment of the Italian coven.

Noel Fisher will play Vladimir, whom Jacob rather aptly nicknamed "Dracula." Vladimir and Stefan showed up in Forks uninvited, but wanting to participate in what they hoped would be the defeat and destruction of the Volturi, who unseated them from their perch as the ruling vampire family. Fisher's past work includes TV's 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' (2009) and 'The Riches' (2007-2008), as well as 'Final Destination 2' (2003).

Seems to an exciting new list of Cast for the most anticipated movie in 2011. Summit has not yet confirmed that all roles has been cast and they will just announce it anytime soon.

Maggie Grace as a new Vampire threat in Breaking Dawn

Maggie Grace will play a new vampire threat to Kristen Stewart's Bella in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. Grace, who played Liam Neeson's in-distress daughter in Taken, will play the role of Irina in the final installments of the Stephenie Meyer novel, which director Bill Condon is directing in two separate films.

Irina is a member of the Denali coven, considered cousins to the Cullen clan as the only other "vegetarian" vampire group. When Irina blames the Cullens for the death of her lover, her actions set in motion a terrifying chain of events. The first of two pictures will be released by Summit Entertainment on November 18, 2011, followed by the finale on November 16, 2012. Melissa Rosenberg is writing both scripts, and Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt and Meyer are producing. Grace just completed the Dwayne Johnson-starrer Faster for CBS Pictures and re-teamed with Taken producer Luc Besson in Lockout, the outer space saga that stars Guy Pearce as a wrongly convicted man offered his freedom if he can rescue the president's daughter (Grace) from an outer space prison taken over by violent inmates. Grace is also waiting to reprise in Taken 2. She is repped by UTA and Global Creative.

Breaking Dawn 2 more rumored cast

In the IMDB website they listed 2 new ‘rumored’ cast members to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. Drew Roy is rumored to play Nahuel and Guri Weinberg is listed to play Stefan.

The first is Drew Roy, who the site notes is “rumored” to play “Nahuel.” That character, if you can’t quite place the name, is the one which [*spoiler alert*] which comes in at the very end as proof that “Renesmee” wasn’t the only one of her kind in the world and that she would grow up to normal size like the mortal that she is. As the Twilight Saga Wiki points out, ”Nahuel is described as an extremely handsome young latin man with rich dark brown skin, eyes the color of warm teak, and extremely attractive features. He wears his black hair in braid past his shoulders.” Drew Roy is a film and TV veteran of Hannah Montana, Greek, and others, and you can check out a picture of him here.

The second is Guri Weinberg, who IMDb.com has listed as “Stefan.” “Stefan” was one of the two Romanian vampires who had a particular distaste for the “Volturi” and hoped to see them fall once and for all. Per Twilight Wiki, “He has black hair and dresses in all black.” Guri Weinberg has been in films like Munich and You Don’t Mess With The Zohan. A good photo of him is available here.

Photo of Kayla who will cast as Renesmee

Kayla is the little girl up for the role of Bella's daughter in the new film in the Twilight Sage: Breaking Dawn. Kayla is pictured with her adorable brother Daniel who has already had two castings since signing with us this month! Daniel will be submitting a video audition for a major Paramount film! Good Luck guys!!!!

Contrary to what meets the eye, Daniel and Kayla are actually not twins. Kayla is actually 3 years younger than Daniel. Both children are extremely talented. MMG scouted the siblings at the IPOP convention in Las Vegas in July 2010. Both kids received training from John Robert Powers school in Montreal, Quebec prior to attending the convention and signing with MMG.

Rami Malek joins Breaking Dawn Cast as Benjamin

ET's introducing you to one of the new castmembers of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.' ET correspondent Kate Gosselin chatted with new 'Twilight' hunk Rami Malek, at ET's exclusive Emmy party.
Malek told ET that he was thrilled about his upcoming role in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2." "I think it's going to be great," said Malek. "It's going to be super exciting and I'm thrilled," Malek said of joining the superstar cast that includes Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
For Malek, who starred in the Tom Hanks-produced "The Pacific," this was his first time at the Emmys and he was thrilled with the HBO project being awarded the statuette for Outstanding Miniseries.
After talking about professional matters, Kate turned professorial when she put Malek to the test during the Kate Quiz.
When Kate asked him to reveal the one star he'd love to meet, Malek seemed definite when admitting that "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara was not only a star he'd like to meet. He said, " [Sofia is] someone I could see in my family, [that you'd] aspire to marry and live with for the rest of your life."
'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2' is slated to reach theaters on Nov. 16, 2012. 'Breaking Dawn, Part 1,' meanwhile, is scheduled to hit the big screen on November 18, 2011. The films are expected to go into production this fall.
Rami is also set to star alongside Tom Hanks in the upcoming film 'Larry Crowne,' due out in 2011.

Lee Pace as Edwards BFF(Garrett) in Breaking Dawn?

Are you all familiar with Lee Pace?

Well, Twi-hards, it's time to learn and possibly fall in love because we're hearing Lee is thisclose to being cast as the newest vampire in the next installment of The Twilight Saga.

So what role would cutie Lee play?

Pace, perhaps best known from the before-its-time show Pushing Daisies, is up for the role of Garrett, a friend of Edward's (that would be Robert Pattinson, just in case you forgot).

The character is described in the script as a tall, nomadic vampire with sandy hair that he keeps tied back with a leather thong. Garrett is also penned as being down-to-earth, laid-back, rugged and having a lightness and element of humor about him.

"Lee is the top person in the running to play Garrett in Breaking Dawn," a source tells E! News

As we all know, Bill Condon is directing both Breaking Dawn films, and according to our insider, is "hoping to take it in a more artsy direction."

Just as long as it's not a musical, eh?

Production on Dawn is slated to begin this fall, though no exact date has been announced. This up-in-the-air start could be affecting Kristen Stewart, but we'll get to that tomorrow.

Lee Pace's manager and publicist have not returned our request for comment, while Summit says no one has been cast yet for the role of Garrett.

Most recently L.P. could be seen in A Single Man and When in Rome.

Edward Cullen Daddy Role for Breaking Dawn

In “Breaking Dawn,” you become a father and Bella becomes a vampire bride. Do you have tips for Kristen on playing a vampire? Do you feel that you’re mature enough to play a dad?
It’s funny because I’m playing a dad in some scenes in “Breaking Dawn” and I’m portraying one in a movie I’m doing now as well. I’m terrified about doing it. I don’t know what I’m going to do when it comes to those scenes. I’ve been complaining so much about having the makeup on and contact lenses. Kristen is like, “You’re so pathetic. You have to just get over it. Why can’t you just get used to it?” [Now, since Kristen has to wear contact lens, too], I can finally be like, “You will know what it’s like. You’re going to be in constant aggravation the whole time.” Which is great.

Kristin Stewart in the live interview of Lopez Tonight Show reveals that she wont be wearing a wig for the Breaking Dawn Movie.

Her hair was cut to fit in appearance in the movie Runaways were she play as Joan Jet.

When George Lopez asked if the studio wanted her to do it, she said–

“Nooooo…they didn’t [want me to cut it]! They sort of freaking hate me for this, but they offered many ridiculous things not to do that.”

Breaking Dawn could film in Louisiana

HollywoodNews.com: An interview with Wyck Godfrey on the red carpet during the premiere of “Eclipse” yielded some interesting news about “Breaking Dawn”. It turns out that the films may not be shot in Vancouver, or any other Pacific Northwest location, as had been assumed, but may actually be shot in the southern U.S. When asked when “Breaking Dawn” production would begin, said the producer, “I’m getting on a plane tomorrow, to Louisiana, to start scouting with Bill Condon, who’s directing the next two movies. And we’re going to start finding our locations and designing sets and we’re going to start shooting in November.”

A filming schedule in Louisiana could be a boon to the economically compromised state, as well as to the surrounding states of the greater gulf coast. Louisiana was just getting back on its feet after Hurricane Katrina, which made landfall nearly five years ago, when the massive BP oil spill recently compromised the state and the region anew.

A “Breaking Dawn” filming effort involving cast and crew alone would allow businesses in the region to recapture some of the lost income that came in the wake of destruction. In addition, the thousands of fans who would come to get a glimpse of movie production would bolster local businesses that much more.

'Breaking Dawn' Screenwriter Is 'Deep In the Middle' Of Script

Although the first of its two installments is more than a year from hitting theaters, the forthcoming "Breaking Dawn" already has Twilighters trying to predict how much of the books will make it to the screen. MTV News recently went in search of some inside scoop from screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg. Like you, we wondered just how much of the 754-page book we can expect to see.

"I'm deep in the middle of it," Rosenberg said of her progress on a script. "I've been working on it for several months now and it's a bear, but it's exciting."

Rosenberg, who has written the screenplays for all three "Twilight" films, also revealed that the "Dawn" adaptation is proving particularly challenging because of the sheer number of characters and the dense mythology behind it all.

"One of the biggest challenges, it's really true with all the novels, but probably more so with this one, is it's really thick with mythology, there are a lot of characters," she said. "The characters expand with the arrival of Carlisle's friends. It's really about who do you pull forward, where do you focus?"

Rosenberg said that though the story always centers on the three main characters — Edward, Bella and Jacob — she wants to make sure to explore the body of myths that fuel the vampire series. "That's the dance I'm playing throughout the entire thing," she said.

As for the cast of the "Twilight Saga," they seem to have welcomed news that the final chapter in the series will be a two-part story.

"I didn't want to read the script that was just one [movie]," Kristen Stewart recently told MTV News. "It would have lacked so much because you just couldn't cram the story into one. At least that was my opinion, so I'm really excited."

"Eclipse" opens June 30, and the first of the two "Breaking Dawn" films is scheduled for a November 18, 2011, release.

Birthing Scene according to Melissa Rosenberg

Now that it's been confirmed that "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" is being split into two flicks, fans want even more details on how screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg will adapt the Stephenie Meyer novel, which includes a lot of sex and an incredibly gory birthing scene, into two PG-13 films. Well, there's a good chance the graphic images of Bella in labor won't be shown at all, Rosenberg says.

"On the fan site, on Facebook, all the comments are, 'It has to be R rated! You have to show the childbirth! Gore and guts and sex!' For me it's actually more interesting to not see it," Rosenberg recently told the Los Angeles Times. "You know, you can do childbirth without seeing childbirth. ... It doesn't mean it's any less evocative of an experience."

When MTV News caught up with Rosenberg to talk about "Eclipse," she said she was going to leave a lot of those hard decisions, like how to show Bella giving birth to vampire spawn Renesmee, to director Bill Condon. "From a screenwriter standpoint that's gonna land more squarely in the director's hands," she teased. "That's one of those things [where] I kind of say [and] make a few sort of general suggestions on the page and say, 'Go! Go, Bill! Do it!' "

Franchise star Robert Pattinson told MTV News that he's glad he doesn't have to be the guy who decides how to bring the birthing scene to life. "I think that's going to be very funny," he said. "The only thing I know about it is the famous scene: the kind of cesarean scene ... I do not envy Bill Condon to have to think of some way to do that."

'Twilight' negotiation update on Breaking Dawn Problems

We've got new details in that "Twilight" salary standoff.
As we first reported Monday, the actors who play the vampire Cullen kids (Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene) have rejected Summit Entertainment's offer to return for a fourth and fifth movie, thus holding up the studio's plan to send teenage girls into fits of euphoria by announcing that "Breaking Dawn" will be split into two installments.
Nicole Sperling at EW says they are demanding $4 million for each of the two "Breaking Dawns," but our sources close to the dealmaking say that number is high, and that reps for Lutz and Greene are asking for less than $2 million for each movie (for a total of about $4 million for both). The negotiation is just kicking into high gear, so these numbers could change; Sperling says co-star Nikki Reed has settled for a payday in the $750,000-$1 million range for each movie.
What are the secondary characters in a blockbuster franchise worth? That's always a tricky question, and especially here, where fans have such a close connection to the material and have come to associate the actors with their parts. On the other hand, "Eclipse" probably won't suffer at the boxoffice in June despite Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre) being recast after playing hardball.

A couple of interesting wrinkles in the negotiation: While lead actors Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner all re-did their deals for huge raises after the first "Twilight" hit big (and are said to be close to deals for No. 4 and 5), Summit did not offer to renegotiate with the Cullens. So their pay for the first three movies has been very low, which would explain them wanting to cash in on "Breaking Dawn."
Also, while the Cullen kids don't play a huge role in the second or third books, they're both in "Breaking Dawn" a lot more. That fact is said to be fueling the demands, though Summit won't lock the script for the final movies until it's a 100% done deal there will be two, so parts could still be minimized or beefed up.
Neither side expects a speedy resolution. Summit wants to move quickly but isn't afraid to recast. Reps for the actors want to make a deal but don't understand why the studio won't take care of the cast in a franchise that has generated more than $1 billion.
While fans might miss the secondary characters, we doubt Summit's boxoffice take would suffer if the Cullens are recast. Would it?
UPDATED: Earlier version of this post said Rachelle Lefevre was recast for "New Moon." Nope, she's in that one but was replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard for "Eclipse."

Breaking Dawn Problems

Numerous reports have confirmed that Summit Entertainment and The Twilight Saga producers will divide Breaking Dawn into two films.

So, why has an official announcement still not been made regarding the final story in this franchise? Because a salary dispute may actually keep two key players from appearing in the final chapter.

No, not Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart. Both of these stars, along with Taylor Lautner, have agreed to anchor both Breaking Dawn installments, with significant raises to show for it.

HOWEVER, neither Kellan Lutz nor Ashley Greene is close to a deal for the second of the two flicks. According to The Hollywood Reporter, each wants a bigger payday ($4 million) than the studio is willing to deliver.

"We may have a situation where one of them is thrown out on the street to make a point," a source actually said.

Such a drastic move would not be unprecedented, even within the Twilight universe itself:

Following her role as Victoria in Twilight and New Moon, Rachelle Lefevre was replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard in Eclipse.

Fans were distressed enough about that decision - but there could be an all-out mutiny if anyone in the Cullen clan is replaced with a new actor or actress. What do you think of this development?

Breaking Dawn will start filming in October

Until now there has been no confirmation if the last instalment of Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling book series would be filmed.

It is thought the 754-page novel might be split into two feature films along the same lines as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, with hopes New Moon director Chris Weitz will return to the helm.

While Serratos’s Eclipse co-stars Gil Birmingham, Daniel Cudmore and Booboo Stewart remained coy about the film’s start date, the actor and sometime model accidentally let the cat out of the bag.

“No word is out yet,” Stewart said, to which Serratos quickly replied “No, October.”

Birmingham, who plays Taylor Lautner’s father Jacob Black, quickly tried to cover up the blunder.

“We could tell you, but we’d have to kill you – like we will Christian,” he said.

So, we’re finally getting around to the end of “The Twilight Saga.” The characters have remained the same and the story continues to stumble towards the end of the tragic tale that is Stephanie Meyer’s “Twilight.” While “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is due in theaters June 30, 2010; the rumors and news bits about “Breaking Dawn” have already begun to spew from their foul depths.

The question is whether or not Bill Condon (“Gods vs Monsters” and “Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh”) will finally put a positive spin on the pockmark that “Twilight” has put on the vampire genre.

“Breaking Dawn is split into three separate parts. The first part details Bella's marriage and honeymoon with Edward, which they spend on a private island off the coast of Brazil. Two weeks into their honeymoon, Bella realizes that she is pregnant and that her condition is progressing at an unnaturally accelerated rate. After contacting Carlisle, who confirms her pregnancy, she and Edward immediately return home to Forks, Washington. Edward, concerned for Bella's life and convinced that the fetus is a monster as it continues to develop with unnatural rapidity, urges her to have an abortion. However, Bella feels a connection with the child and refuses.

The novel's second part is written from the perspective of wolf shape-shifter Jacob Black, and lasts throughout Bella's pregnancy and childbirth. Jacob's Quileute wolf pack, not knowing what danger the unborn child may pose, plan to destroy it, also killing Bella. Jacob vehemently protests this decision and leaves, forming his own pack with Leah and Seth Clearwater. Bella soon gives birth, but the baby breaks many of her bones and she loses massive amounts of blood. In order to save her life, Edward changes her into a vampire by injecting his venom into her heart. Jacob, who was present for the birth, almost immediately "imprints"—an involuntary response in which a shape-shifter finds his soul mate—on Edward and Bella's newborn daughter, Renesmee. This ends the enmity between Jacob and the Cullens, leading Edward and Jacob to regard each other as brothers.

The third section of Breaking Dawn shifts back to Bella's perspective, finding her changed into a vampire and enjoying her new life and abilities. However, the vampire Irina misidentifies Renesmee as an "immortal child", a child who has been turned into a vampire. Because "immortal children" are uncontrollable, creating them has been outlawed by the Volturi. After Irina presents her allegation to the Volturi, they plan to destroy Renesmee and the Cullens. In an attempt to survive, the Cullens gather other vampire clans from around the world to stand as witnesses and prove to the Volturi that Renesmee is not an immortal child. Upon confronting the gathered Cullen allies and witnesses, the Volturi discover that they have been misinformed and immediately execute Irina for her mistake. However, they remain undecided on whether Renesmee should be viewed as a threat to vampires' secret existence. At that time, Alice and Jasper, who had left prior to the confrontation, return with a Mapuche called Nahuel, a 150-year-old vampire-human crossbreed like Renesmee. He demonstrates that the crossbreeds pose no threat, and the Volturi surrender. Edward, Bella and Renesmee return to their home in peace.”

Ashley Greene Gives Her Thoughts On Possible 'Breaking Dawn' Directors

SAUGUS, California — Less than a month after Kristen Stewart confirmed to us the three leading candidates to direct "Breaking Dawn," word has leaked that "Dreamgirls" filmmaker Bill Condon may have emerged as Summit Entertainment's top choice for the final "Twilight" tale.
As Twilighters continue to hold their breath in anticipation of a big announcement likely to come soon, we spoke with another Stephenie Meyer fan who has a more personal stake in the decision: The lovely and talented Ashley Greene. Hard at work these days filming her first starring role in the supernatural thriller "The Apparition," the woman sometimes known as Alice Cullen took a break from shooting to give us her breakdown of the big three "Breaking Dawn" candidates.

"They didn't get to where they are by making mediocre, boring films," Ashley said of her excitement over the names. "I think they would all bring incredible elements to the films, and that's what I think we've been doing the whole time. You've seen such a difference between Catherine [Hardwicke], and then we went to Chris Weitz and then David Slade, and it's progressively getting a little darker.
"They are all incredible directors," she added. "I think we'd be very happy with all of them."
Gus Van Sant: "I became excited about Gus Van Sant not too long ago, because I was reading a script that Bryce Dallas Howard was actually producing [with him called 'Restless']; she was talking to me a little bit about him and the film as a whole," Ashley said of the avant-garde filmmaker behind everything from blockbusters ("Good Will Hunting") to bizarre indie flicks ("My Own Private Idaho"). "I think Gus Van Sant would be pretty amazing."
Sofia Coppola: "In ['Breaking Dawn'] in particular, there's this whole thing about Bella finally just getting to be with Edward and her going through pregnancy and her having a child, and it's a lot of stuff from a female point of view," explained Greene, saying that the "Lost in Translation" filmmaker could inject a welcome return to feminism unseen since Hardwicke left the franchise. "I definitely think that would be kind of cool."
Bill Condon: "I haven't seen ['Gods and Monsters'] ... I actually haven't seen 'Dreamgirls' either," Greene sheepishly admitted of Condon's 1998 and 2006 Oscar-winning masterpieces, joking nonetheless that if he wanted to add some song-and-dance numbers to "Breaking Dawn," she wouldn't complain. "I wouldn't mind; I think if he were to direct, I'd be right there in his ear going, 'So you know, I used to dance and I can sing.' I definitely wouldn't mind doing a musical. It's one of the things I definitely plan on doing [in my film career]."

Breaking Dawn will be PG-13 accorfing to Melissa Rosenberg

Obviously, I mean screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg. We all know that Stephenie Meyer wrote the books. And this is all assuming that Summit Entertainment actually goes ahead and greenlights "Breaking Dawn." Because, you know... they could just cap the series with "Eclipse," right?

Kidding of course. The news is that Rosenberg -- Melissa, not me -- has been talking "Breaking Dawn." And the things she's been saying have been very interesting. Jackson Rathbone's idea for ‘Breaking Dawn’

Should "Breaking Dawn" be in 3-D? While all the "Twilight" stars have their own opinions, with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart not really digging the idea, MTV News caught up with Jackson Rathbone to get his take.

"I think some films work in 3-D, and some films don't," he told MTV News on the orange carpet at the Kids' Choice Awards over the weekend. "I don't necessarily think it should be 3-D, but, hey, you know, it's up for the production to decide."

Rathbone also weighed in on who should direct the flick. There are several big names up for the job — including Gus Van Sant, Sofia Coppola, Bill Condon and Stephen Daldry — but Rathbone has his own idea. "I'm really pulling for them to resurrect Stanley Kubrick and have him helm the film," he joked. "I'm really hoping for that. I want a zombie Stanley Kubrick to direct 'Twilight 4.' "

While that seems unlikely, Stewart and Pattinson are both rooting for Van Sant to come onboard. "He just makes stunning movies. I just love his work," Stewart said. "They've got so much depth. I feel that all of the movies have that [something]. I feel like all the directors have already brought that, but he's one of my favorites, so I would love that."

"He shoots everything in Portland," Pattinson said of why Van Sant would be perfect for the gig. "He's good at making it look beautiful."

Breaking Dawn looking for a New Director

Yes, it’s still early days, but Summit is trying to up its pedigree for its big-screen adaptation of the final installment of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series. Sources tell EW that the studio has reached out to at least three top-notch directors, including Sofia Coppola (Lost in Translation), Gus Van Sant (Milk), and Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) to gauge their interest in what is likely to be two movies. (Van Sant’s reps confirmed that he’s been approached, but Coppola and Condon’s people didn’t return phone calls by press time. Summit declined to comment.)

No decisions are likely to be made until the studio delivers screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg’s detailed outline to the directors. That should happen sometime next week. Until then we can just wonder how these three very diverse directors will approach Bella’s controversial birthing scene.

Breaking Dawn in 3D by Kellan Lutz

“I heard they were talking about it. I don’t really care to see it in 3-D,” he told MTV News on the red carpet at Cosmopolitan magazine’s 2010 Fun Fearless Males party on Monday night in New York City.

Like Pattinson, Lutz isn’t a big fan of movies filmed in multiple dimensions. “3-D kind of hurts my eyes anyways. ‘Avatar’ was amazing in 3-D and in IMAX, but I don’t think I wanna see a little baby half-vampire in 3-D,” he said, echoing a similar sentiment made by Stewart. “There’s just some scenes I just wouldn’t want to see in 3-D.”

And with no formal announcement that more movies will be shot from the “Twilight Saga,” Lutz is in favor of breaking the book up into two flicks with “New Moon” helmer Chris Weitz back in the director’s chair, if the film should get the green light. “I’d love to see Chris Weitz come back,” he said late last year. “I just had so much fun shooting with him. I mean, obviously I would just love to do ['Breaking Dawn']. There’s no word. … Hopefully we get that phone call, and if they want to make it into five movies, I just don’t want it to end. I love my character so much.”

Kristen Stewart on Breaking Dawn: "Still Not Concrete"

Breaking Dawn isn't officially a go yet. Neither is the plan to make two movies instead of one.

"I have been told to be ready for November," Kristen Stewart tells me. "I mean, it looks like a 'yes,' but it's still not concrete."

Stewart believes the story in the fourth book in the Twilight series "absolutely warrants" being two films. "It would be hard to cram all of it into one movie," she said earlier today while promoting her new drama The Yellow Handkerchief.

Things have certainly changed since Stewart and Rob Pattinson signed on for the first flick...

"We didn't even know we were going to make a second one," Stewart said. "We were just like, 'It's really cool. It's different and we've never seen a love story like this.'…I thought it would just be another cool Catherine Hardwicke movie."

And just because Stewart doesn't like her private life being examined and the overzealous paparazzi that come along with the fame that doesn't mean she resents—in any way!—the Twilight phenomenon. "But I can't say I don't want that, because people take it to the extreme and say that I hate it," she explains. "No, no, no! That's not true."

Eddie Redmayne, Stewart's Handkerchief costar who also happens to be one of Pattinson's old pals, admits it's been "surreal" watching his friends become two of the world's, well, most famous stars.

"When we were at Sundance with Yellow Handkerchief, Kristen was like, 'I'm going to go do this film with Rob Pattinson," Redmayne remembered. "I was like, 'I know Rob!' and Kristen said, 'What's he like?'"

In Handkerchief, Stewart and Redmayne play teenagers who befriend an ex-con (William Hurt) who is looking for his ex-wife (Maria Bello).

Stewart and Redmayne share a kiss in the flick. I ask Stewart if she really meant it when she told my pal Elizabeth Snead at Zap2it that Mr. Redmayne was a better kisser than Mr. Pattinson.

Redmayne tried answering for her. "A slightly off-the-beaten-path person against the most handsome vampire in the world?" Redmayne said. "I will take my hat off to Rob on that one—and his skin shines!"

"But his skin doesn't shine in the real world," Kristen quickly fired back. "You're in the real world."

And just because Stewart did her own singing playing Joan Jett in next month's The Runaways, don't expect her to be following in Pattinson's footsteps by recording a song for a Twilight soundtrack.

"I love being an actor," she explained. "I would totally play another person in a band, but Kristen is not going to be in a band."

Breaking Dawn in 3D - what do you think?

Braking Dawn has been having issues lately regarding making it into 2 movies, but heres another issue about making it a 3D. Popwatch was able to gather pro and con ideas regarding Breaking Dawn in 3D:

Pro: For the studio, there’s the extra fee on the ticket, which is guaranteed to be a hot one for Twihards regardless of its decision. Also, the still rare 3D experience could lure in moviegoers who are on the fence.
Con: For the person who sees the Twilight films purely to keep current on pop culture, having to pay more will heighten any resentment he or she may feel if disappointed.

Pro: Fast-moving vampires and werewolves should look awesome in 3D. So should Bella and Edward getting busy…
Con: Shockingly, some Twilight fans don’t want to feel like they’re in the room (or water) for those intimate moments. In the eloquent words of Twitter users:

Pro: The visuals in the Twilight films have, frankly, always been stronger than the script. So let’s eye-candy it out.
Con: Some fans would prefer the focus be on story:

Marcus of Volturi talks Breaking Dawn

Earlier this week, Twilight Lexicon's interview with The Twilight Saga: New Moon star Christopher Heyerdahl was released, and he talked to them about his appreciation for being a part of the Twilight film series' Volturi guard.

Today, though, the second portion of the interview has been released - only furthering our grip on his understanding of the series and his character - and he's had a little to say about The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

"When is [Marcus] going to speak up?" Heyerdahl says, "When is it necessary to speak up and say, 'Guys, you’re going too far. You’re wrong.' That’s the fun of when he speaks in New Moon and perhaps when he speaks in Breaking Dawn those will be the reasons why. He’s always just sanding off the hard edges of his eager compatriots that are sometimes…"

Of course, what Heyerdahl is referring to is the boredom that his character exhibits throughout the whole series . . . that is, until Breaking Dawn.

At the end of Breaking Dawn, the Volturi has a decision to make: do the Cullens and Renesmee get to go on with their happy existences, or are they a threat to the vampire world at large (thusly needing to be eradicated)?

Of course, Marcus - one of the three votes on the matter - has to step in and side with the Cullens on the issue. So, clearly Christopher Heyerdahl is already readying his mind for what his character portrayal will entail with Breaking Dawn (which, of course - standard caveat - is an as-yet-unofficial film). Pretty exciting, huh?

Kristen Stewart thoughts about Renesmee

There is a multitude of questions surrounding "Breaking Dawn," the potentially final installment of "The Twilight Saga," including who will direct the film, when it will begin production and whether or not it will be broken up into two films — but as it stands, the only true guarantee is that "Breaking Dawn" will exist on film some day.

At the Sundance Film Festival, MTV News spoke with Kristen Stewart to see if she could shed some much needed light on the highly anticipated movie, but it turns out that the on-screen Bella Swan is just as in the dark as the rest of the franchise's fans.

"I don't even know if it's going to be one [film] or two, or who is directing it, or when it's even going [to start]," she admitted. "I know that it's going to go, but not when yet."

The most important issue facing Kristen's character is the birth of Edward and Bella's baby daughter Renesmee. In Stephenie Meyer's novel, Renesmee's birth is so graphic that Bella nearly dies but is ultimately converted into a vampire and saved by Edward. While the scene is currently unwritten as far as the "Breaking Dawn" script goes, Kristen is eager to learn how it will translate from book to film.

"I haven't seen a script, but I'm not alone in really, really wondering how they're going to handle that," she said.

As important as the birth scene itself is the baby that is born. Will Renesmee be played by an actual baby or will she be given the CGI treatment? It's a tricky question that Kristen doesn't have an easy answer for, but one thing is certain — Renesmee has to be adorable.

"Little Renesmee, she's got to be cute," said the actress. "She can't just be this scary superhuman teeth baby!

Peter Facinelli hopes for a PG-13 Breaking Dawn

Well to those who have read the book for Breaking Dawn the fourth of the Twilight Saga were finally Edward and Bella are on a honeymoon and having a very intimate time together as a married couple. With some feathers and bruises covering Bella the next morning from the strength of Edward. Also the cesarean scene where it seems to bloody as we know. We could imagine how rough would it be to film it out.

Peter Facinelli the patriach Dr. Carisle Cullen recently talks to Hollywood Life regarding the production of Breaking Dawn as he is a 37 year old father to a 12 year old daughter who is also a big twi-hard fan.

We’ve been waiting for soooo long to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart FINALLY make sweet, sweet love in the fourth and final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn, that it didn’t even occur to us that some people (re: parents) might not be so happy at the seductive content.

However, Peter Facinelli—who plays hot vampire patriarch Carlisle Cullen—has made us see the error of our ways.

“I have a 12-year-old daughter [Luca Bella, whose mom is Jennie Garth]. She’s a fan and I’d want her not to feel left out or awkward,” Peter, 37, explained to HollywoodLife.com exclusively Jan. 16 at Lionsgate’s pre-Golden Globes party.

“Hopefully it’s a PG-13 type of situation,” he added. “I’m sure the producers and directors know what they want—and especially what they are doing—but I’m sure they don’t want to alienate fans.”

Lainey Exclusive Breaking Dawn Rumors

Lainey Gossip was able to have an exclusive update regarding the filming of Breaking Dawn the 4th of the Twilight Saga. More likely in her exclusive report she stated the Vancouver location update where rumors are saying that the Breaking Dawn will be filmed on that place as they may start this fall.

"Some non-romance related updates for you Twi-Hards, this has to do with shooting location in response to the daily flurry of emails I receive for production information related to the 4th and possibly 5th movie(s).

You’ll recall I was the first to report that due to provincial tax credit drama and competing incentives, Portland became a more viable location. Despite reports elsewhere, as of this weekend, no final decision has been made. Having said that, Vancouver remains Summit’s first choice even though the tax credit situation has yet to be sorted.

My sources tell me exclusively Summit representatives met with the BC government just before Christmas to see if a favourable arrangement could be worked out. That meeting concluded with NO commitments from government officials who explained that they were not prepared to look at any new tax structure until after the Olympics. Summit was hoping to make a decision sooner.

Further, many crew members who worked on Twilight New Moon and Eclipse are now working on the new Fox show Human Target (shot in Vancouver) which enjoyed a solid debut the other night. As of two days ago, those crew members have not been informed of any movement to go back to Twilight. Yet.

There’s been some buzz among certain local special effects firms that a contract is coming, anticipating a June start date. The timing is encouraging for those lobbying for a Twilight return. This would allow for 3 months of prep before principle photography in September. So it looks promising… but there are still many variables at play. Will keep you posted."

Eclipse Movie will be on theaters June 30 2010 and they could start filming for Breaking Dawn earlier than that and its making fans now real excited for the upcoming sequels

Stephenie Meyer response to Breaking Dawn's Issue

Stephenie Meyer responded to issues how will the Breaking Dawn movie will go. There has been issues that the movie basing on the book will be in 2 or even more film just to fit on the story. But Stephenie Meyer released at statement in her website in her response to this issue.

Just a quick note on the subject of the Breaking Dawn film: there is no drama over whether the book should be one movie or two. My personal feeling is that it would be very difficult to cram the whole story into one movie (as I've said in many interviews previous to this), but if a great way of doing that surfaces, I'm all for it. Two or one, whichever way fits the story best is fine by me, and everyone I've spoken with at Summit seems to feel the same way. We're all excited to move forward on this, and we are slowly and surely getting there. I know people are anxious for news, and so sometimes gossip gets fabricated to stir things up, but there's no basis to this particular story.

Breaking Dawn will begin shooting this fall

According to La Times in a recent interview with Twilight Saga producer Wyck Godfrey that Breaking Dawn is still a work in progress, but he admitted that they could start filming in Vancouver this fall. Breaking Dawn is the fourth of the Twilight Saga to be produced by Summit Entertainment and for the first 2 movies: Twilight and New Moon has been hitting theaters worldwide and considering the third film Eclipse Movie as one of the most anticipated Movie in 2010.

Wyck Godfrey, the producer of all the films in the "Twilight" saga, admits that the creative team still doesn't know how they'll handle the character in the "Breaking Dawn" movie, but said that the plan is absolutely for the production to go forward -- as either one or two installments -- with an eye toward beginning to shoot in Vancouver this fall. All three stars are signed for "Breaking Dawn," he said, meaning that Stewart and Pattinson will be dealing with the joys and woes of interspecies parenting and newly minted heartthrob Taylor Lautner will return as often-shirtless shape-shifter Jacob Black.

At the moment, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who's penned all the "Twilight" movies, is working on the "Breaking Dawn" script(s). "It's a work in process," Godfrey said in an interview Friday. "The issue [of whether there will be one or two movies] is not going to be resolved until we get the full treatment and see whether it's organic. If it's not organic, I don't think it will be done, and if it is, it will be. It really has to do with how much level of detail from the books there is, with all of these new vampires that appear in 'Breaking Dawn,' the whole section about Jacob... It's a very long single movie if it does become a single movie."

Although there's been a great deal of online chatter about whether Chris Weitz, director of the second and most recent movie, "New Moon," would return to helm "Breaking Dawn," Godfrey downplayed that possibility, saying, "I think everyone would be happy and excited if he came back, but I don't think it's going to happen."

He and the other principals are formulating a list of potential directors, "but right now," Godfrey said, "we're just focused on the treatment and getting that right. At that point, we're going to see who's available and who's appropriate. It's such a complicated book because you have the emotions and the intensity of the love story -- so you need somebody who's just a wonderful director of actors -- and yet it's really complicated from an action and visual effects standpoint. They've got to have both tools in their kit."

A visual effects background might be particularly helpful when it comes to dealing with the character of Renesmee.

"I keep having visions of '[The Curious Case of] Benjamin Button' in my head," Godfrey said, referring to David Fincher's Oscar-nominated 2008 fantasy about a man who becomes physically younger as he ages. "It's certainly going to be visual effects in some capacity along with an actor. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being a full CG creation, but it also may be a human shot on a soundstage that then is used to shrink down. I don't know. We need a director. When we get a director, that director will need to come with a point of view of how they want to tackle it."
